A. Summary of the wet type rod mill

Now this equipment is widely used in chemical, metallurgy, glasses industry and other industries which has  the high requirement for the evenness milling after milling. B. Performance characteristics of the wet type rod mill

The performance characteristics of the rod mill are as follows: the rod mill also plays a selective grinding role in the process of grinding because the grinding media contact with the ore in linear. The final products of the rod mill have the relatively uniform particle size and fewer over crushed mineral particles. On rough grinding, the handling capacity of this rod mill is much larger than the ball mill with the same specifications, and vice versa.

C. Working principle of the wet type rod mill

Through the underdrive of the reducer and the surrounding big gear, the cylinder body of the rod mill begins to rotate. The cylinder body is equipped with the appropriate grinding media - steel bars. Under the centrifugal force and friction, the grinding media are elevated to a certain height and then the grinding media will be thrown down or draining off. The milled materials continue to come into the interior of the cylinder body to be crushed by the grinding media in motion, and then are discharged from the equipment by the overflow force and continue to be fed to the next operating process.
