The spiral classifier is one of the common equipment in flotation separating process. And it is the key equipment in flotation separating process. Because the solid proportion is different, the precipitation speed of solid in fluid is different, which is the mechanical classification principle of the spiral classifier. The Installation of Spiral Classifier

The spiral classifier can be installed after the checking with no harm and no screw loosening. The spiral classifier should be steadily installed on the base of pouring concrete. The basic design should have nice supporting function, which can reduce the shear stress on the screw. 

Only  after knowing the structure and working principle of the spiral classifier can the machine be operated. 

1. After the turning of helicoids,begin to fill the ore pulp and gradually increase the amount of the ore. 

2. When the helicoids is in working conditions, if the special failure such as getting stuck,overload appears, must stop working at once and had better to elevate the helicoids from the ore pulp. Leaving the helicoids in the ore pulp is forbidden. At the same time, open the ore valve immediately to avoid siltation. 

3. When the machine beginning to work again, the helicoids must be down to a certain position first, and then can be turned. 

4. If it is necessary to stop the spiral classifier in its using processing, the material feeding should be stopped first, and then after it finishes the material classification and no material is in the machine, the spiral classifier can be stopped.
