The dry magnetic separator is the magnetic beneficiation machinery for the separation of the dry magnetic minerals. Compared with dry magnetic separator, the wet magnetic separator uses the liquid as the diluents to improve the separation efficiency when it is sorting the minerals. The dry magnetic separator requires that the minerals to be sorted should be dry and the particles can move freely in independent free area. Otherwise, the separation effect will be affected or the minerals can not be sorted. Magnetic separators may be ferromagnetic or paramagnetic, depending on the needs, and in some cases materials will be passed through both types of magnetic separators.
