Jaw crusher appeared earlier among crushing equipments and the structure is simple and stable. It 's reliable,easy to maintain and repair. Besides, the building and construction production cost is relatively low. Therefore, until now, jaw crusher is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, electricity, traffic and many other fields. Generally speaking, jaw crushers fall into two kinds: single toggle jaw crusher and simple toggle jaw crusher. Jaw crusher is mainly used for coarse crushing and mid fine crushing. Recent years, there are appeareing new types of crushers, such as new type single toggle jaw crusher, which is used for fine crushing. And high strength jaw crusher is used for crushing high strength. So, jaw crusher are widely applied to such industries as mining, metallurgy, building materials, highway, railway, water conservancy, chemical industry, etc..

Functions of jaw crusher 

Jaw crusher can be used for all kinds of rocks and ore for coarse crushing, mid fine crushing and fine crushing under compressive strength range of 147~245Mpa. And the highest compressive strength of material is up to 320Mpa. The performance features of jaw crusher are : big crushing ratio, even particle size of finished product, simple structure, stable operation, easy to maintain and repair and low running cost. Working principle: When in operation, motor drives eccentric shaft rotating by pulley, moving close to the e-cycle and leaving the fixed jaw so that it can realize multiple broken methods to material, extrusion, twist, crush. Thereby the materials gradually become smaller and smaller and then fall off, finally are discharged out of the discharge port. 

Operation problems and solutions 

1. Why is the jaw crusher output not able to reach the leaving factory standard? 

(1) Replace or increase jaw crusher; 

(2) Change motor junction; 

(3) Adjust discharge port to the machine instruction statement. Increase fine crushing machine. 

(4) Please check if toothed plate and pitch size are up to standard, if not, you shall replace jaw plate, adjust relative position between fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate. Guarantee that tooth is against the root tooth. And fix them tightly to prevent displacement; 

(5) Regulate voltage higher at operation site to fit for host motor heavy load requirement. 

(6) Replace bearing or movable jaw plate. 

2. Why does the jaw plate give out jumping sound when in operation? 

(1) Please fix tight bolts; 

(2) Please adjust discharge port to guarantee gap between two jaw plates is correct. 

3. The main engine geneva wheel and movable jaw plate operate normal, but why does the machine stop working? 

(1) Replace tight spring; 

(2) Replace tie rod; 

(3) Reinstall or replace bracket panel. 

4. Jaw crusher shutdown suddenly (old saying is machine holding)? 

(1) Clean clogging materials at discharge port to guarantee discharge smoothly. 

(2) Adjust V-belt tightly or replace V-belt; 

(3) Reinstall or replace bush fixing; 

(4) Regulate voltage of operation siteto conform main engine voltage requirement. 

(5) Replace bearing.
