Sand dryer machine is a kind of rotary drum dryer. It adapts to the drying of granular materials, and can also be used for the drying of sticky creamy materials or materials with higher water content. The advantages of Hongxing sand dryer are: large production capacity, wide range of application, small flow resistance, large operating range and easy operation.
Workflow of sand dryer machine
The sand is sent to hopper through belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then sent through the feed pipe into the feed end by the hopper feeder. The slope of the feeding pipe should be larger than the natural inclination so that the materials could smoothly flow into the sand dryer. Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder slightly inclining with the horizontal line. The materials enter from the upper end, while the heat carrier enters from low end and forms countercurrent to contact with the materials. The heat carrier can also flow into the cylinder together with the materials. Along with the rotation of the cylinder, the materials run to the lower end under gravity. In the process of moving forward in the cylinder body, the wet materials directly or indirectly get the heat of the heat carrier and dried. Then the dried materials are sent out by belt conveyor or screw conveyor at the discharge end. Hongxing sand dryer cylinder body inner wall is equipped with lifting board, which plays a role of  lifting the material and then plant to make the contact surface of the materials and airflow increase so as to improve the drying rate and promote the materials forward. The heat carrier is generally divided into the hot air, flue gas, and so on. After heat carrier goes through the dryer, in normal occasion, the cyclone dust collector should gather the materials within the gas. If there is need for further reduction of exhaust gas dust content, the gas should pass the bag dust collector or wet dust collector before emissions.
